Case Study : Thigh Liposuction in Female
Patient Profile:
Patient is a 32 years old female who has been leading an active lifestyle and currently working in a company. Despite good diet and exercise routine patient was unable to lose stubborn fat around thighs. She was not able to wear pants of her choice and has to wear long shirts to hide thigh bulges. Also due to inner thigh fat she was constantly suffering from fungal infections in inner thighs. Her BMI was 24.8 with no co morbidities or previous history of medical/surgical hospital admission.
Surgical Planning:
Patient explained about removal of subcutaneous fat (under the skin fat) with liposuction through very small key holes of less than 0.5 mm which will be well hidden. High- definition liposuction was planned involving defining the tummy and tummy muscles, back, buttocks and thighs giving her an hour glass shape.
Surgery:
To achieve finesse it was planned in General Anaesthesia. Tumuscent liposuction was done using Power assisted Liposuction with Microaire with high powered Medela Suction. Approx. 4.5 litres of fat were removed from inner, outer and back of thighs. Whole surgery was completed in under 3 hours.
Post- surgery:
Patient experienced only slight discomfort and was discharged the same day. She was advised to wear compression garment 24*7 and take 5 days course of oral antibiotics. Her recovery was smooth.
Results:
Post 2 months of high- definition thigh liposuction her results can be appreciated. Results improve further over months.
